Spencer Bense

“There must be a dental gene that I inherited”. Dr. Spencer Bense comes from a family of dentists including his grandfather, two aunts, one uncle and both of his parents. His favorite part of dentistry is forming relationships with his patients. It is not uncommon to see his assistant in the hallway trying to get Dr. Bense’s attention to stop talking and get back to work as he continues to laugh and catch up with his patients. He also enjoys the feeling of challenging himself with complex esthetic cases, alleviating patient pain via extractions and root canals and restoring his patient’s smiles.
Outside of the office, Dr. Bense can be found negotiating the trails on his dirt-bike, shooting trap or sporting clays, snowmobiling, snowboarding or sitting by the fire at the cabin. He also enjoys hiking and trying new dishes at the many restaurants in the surrounding communities with his girlfriend. He is an active member of the Armenia Debating Society, Troy Sportsmen Club, and American Academy of Physiology in Medicine and Dentistry.
